Who is it addressed to?
The Labourer Card is designed for a construction worker who has been hired to do various manual jobs on construction sites. It will allow you to perform tasks on construction sites in every entry-level position and has a validity of 5 years.
Having this card proves that the you possess the minimum required qualifications to work on the construction site and that you are competent with basic health and safety.
More than 95% of the construction sites require NVQ cards to allow workers on site.
NVQ Qualifications
- What are the requirements to get a Green CSCS card?
The green card is one fairly easy to get. You must be 16+ years old and have certain qualifications
• You must have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test within the past two years.
• Complete the QCF Level 1/SCQF Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in Construction Environment or SCQF Level 5 REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Certificate. (These are lifetime qualifications that only need taking once and are accepted when your Labourer Card is up for renewal in 5 years).
